About the role:
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer (with app experience) eager to join our company.
We’re looking for a person that:
Is innovative and creative, with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
Can produce static app store promotional screenshots, in-app events, promotional content, app icons, and feature graphic designs for ASO.
Creates engaging static ad creatives for performance campaigns (Instagram, TikTok, and Google) - specifically for mobile apps.
Understands the goals behind each creative: increasing CTR, lowering CPI, improving install rate — and you design with those KPIs in mind.
Supports the creation and design of content for Applica's LinkedIn presence, enhancing brand visibility.
Experience in designing for app categories like Health & Fitness, Meditation, Fintech, or Education is a strong plus.
What challenges you will have:
Collaborate with teams to translate creative concepts into tangible assets that drive app acquisition.
Be creative and follow the apps’ brand guidelines, ensuring innovation and brand integrity.
Maintain a consistent brand image across all assets produced for each app.
Switch styles between designing for organic visibility (ASO) and paid user acquisition.
Stay ahead of design and ads trends and incorporate them to keep content fresh and relevant.
What skills do we require from you:
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Experience in designing promotional materials for apps (iOS and Android).
Understanding of App Store / Google Play guidelines and requirements for visual assets (Icon / Screenshots).
High-level understanding of composition, colours, design trends, and best practices.
Experience working with mock-ups.
UI/UX understanding, basic knowledge.
Familiar with tools like Meta Ad Library, TikTok Creative Center, and App Store screenshots — and use them for research and inspiration.
Skills in editing vector / raster images.
High-level understanding of ASO and UA to tailor designs that capture user attention and retention.
Finding and implementing solutions for optimal delivery of design tasks.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ability to argue personal design decisions.
Outstanding organisational skills (your Figma files must be professional standard).
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Basic video editing skills are desirable.
AI usage in design is beneficial.

What would your typical workday look like:
Competitors' research.
Designing static assets in Figma.
Hypothesis generation, ideation.
Briefing chats with the Creative Team.
Collaboration with UA, ASO, and Applicants teams.
Occasional presentations to the stakeholders.
